The chef's choice course is served with thick "shijimi" (corbicula) soup.
You can enjoy "Onomichi's" famous deep-fried small fish "nebuto", savory steamed egg custard topped with pickled plum, and 2 kinds of sea urchin wrapped with oval squid. You will also enjoy traditional "Edomae nigiri" which have rice seasoned with red vinegar, followed by creative nibbles. Enjoy the unique taste of fatty tuna with homemade salt sprinkled on the sinews.
There are 8 seats at the counter and 1 private room in the restaurant. We strive to create a comfortable space for you to enjoy and relax. Sushi Matsumoto Owner, Mizuho Matsumoto

He trained for 10 years at "Ginza Kyūbey", a famous Edo-style sushi restaurant.
After serving as "Sushi Kanesaka" he served as head chef "Sushi Cho" in Korea.
He opened "Sushi Matsumoto" in Akasaka, Tokyo in June 2017.
"Sushi Matsumoto" received one star in the latest version of "Michelin Guide Tokyo 2019".
